Chinmaya Chanting Competition

Chanting cleanses the mind, uplifts the soul and connects with the Supreme.

Chinmaya Mission Thiruvallur has been conducting annual chanting competitions based on Bhagavad Gita and Thamizh texts. The Competition for the year 2022 - 2023 was based on Chapter 3 of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and selected songs from Thiruppugazh. 20 Schools participated in the event. Totally about 4000 students participated at the school level prelims of which 200 school level winners competed at the district level today, Jan 21, 2023. It was greatly rewarding to hear the young ones recite the divine songs of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita & Thiruppugazh with devotional passion.

Event was held at Chinmaya Mission Thamaraipakkam, Tiruvallur, on Jan 21, 2023.
